Lawyer’s Professional Liability (LPL)

We offer several professional liability insurance programs for attorneys and law firms. Our program is backed by an A++ (Superior) XV ($2 Billion or greater) rated insurer and offers limits up to $5,000,000 per claim and in the aggregate. We also offer a variety of deductible options, including a $1,000 minimum deductible and loss only deductibles. Additionally, we offer separate limits for defense costs.

Policy Features

Our policy features a broad definition of legal services, which includes services performed as a lawyer, arbiter, mediator, expert witness, title agent, notary public, governmental affairs advisor, lobbyist, or member of a bar association. It also includes services performed as an administrator, conservator, receiver, executor, guardian, trustee, or in a fiduciary capacity (except as a fiduciary as defined by ERISA). Legal services also includes pro bono services.
